born in Mayem, Goa on 11th September 1980. He graduated with a BFA in Painting from the Goa College of Art in 2001, and completed his MFA from Sarojini Naidu School of Fine Arts, Central University of Hyderabad in 2003.

He has held two solo exhibitions of his work, at galleria Cidade de Goa in 2004, and at Oceanic Resort, Colva, Goa in 2006.

He has also shown at the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi (2003), The Rainbow Art Gallery, Mumbai (2003), ‘Portugal through the Eyes of Artist in Goa, organised by the Consulate General of Portugal in Goa (2005), Shrishti Art Gallery, Hyderabad (2006), Harvest 2007 Arushi Arts, New Delhi (2007).

Gosavi has won the State Kala Academy Award (2004), the AIFACS State Award (2003) and the AIFACS National Award, as well as an award in the graphic print category at the 25th State Art Exhibition.

He Lives and works in Goa.
