did his Diploma in Drawing and Painting from Abhinava Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 1987, and completed his Post - Diploma in Creative Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M. S. University, Baroda.

He has lectured in the Department of Painting Faculty of Fine Arts, M. S. University, Baroda from 1995 to 1988 and was Visiting Faculty in Graphic Design At the National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad.

He was awarded the Residency at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten by the Dutch Ministry of Education Culture and Science, Amsterdam, in 2002 and 2003, and the Junior Fellowship by Human Resource Development Ministry, for the year 2000-2002.

He lives and works in Baroda-Gujarat, India.
